Follow these steps to connect your USB label printer to LabelInn:

Step 1: Physical Connection

  1. Turn off your printer
  2. Connect the USB cable to your printer and computer
  3. Turn on your printer and wait for it to initialize

Step 2: Add Printer in LabelInn

  1. Open LabelInn application
  2. Go to Settings โ†’ Printers
  3. Click "Add Printer" button
  4. Select "USB" as connection type
  5. Click "Scan for Printers"
  6. Select your printer from the list
  7. Click "Connect"

  • If your printer doesn't appear, try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable
  • Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed
  • Some printers require you to install manufacturer software first

Learn how to create a professional label in just 5 minutes!

Step 1: Choose a Template or Start Blank

  1. From the home screen, click "New Label"
  2. Choose from 100+ templates or select "Blank Label"
  3. Set your label size (width x height in mm)

Step 2: Add Content

Use the toolbar on the left to add elements:

Step 3: Customize

Step 4: Print

  1. Click "Print" button (top right)
  2. Select your printer
  3. Set quantity
  4. Click "Print"

  • Use Ctrl+S to save your label
  • Use Ctrl+Z to undo mistakes
  • Double-click text to edit it directly

๐Ÿ”ง Printing Not Working? Try These Fixes

If your labels aren't printing correctly, try these solutions in order:

1. Check Connection

2. Restart Everything

  1. Close LabelInn application
  2. Turn off the printer
  3. Wait 10 seconds
  4. Turn on the printer
  5. Open LabelInn again

3. Check Label Media

4. Test Print from Printer

Print a test page directly from the printer (usually by holding the Feed button). If this doesn't work, the issue is with the printer hardware.

5. Check Print Settings

Common Errors:

  • "Printer not found" - Re-scan for printers in Settings
  • "Connection timeout" - Check network/USB connection
  • "Media out" - Load label media into printer
  • "Head open" - Close the printer cover properly

  1. Go to Settings โ†’ Support โ†’ Collect Logs
  2. Send the log file to support@labelinn.com
  3. Include your printer model and describe the issue

๐Ÿ“Š How to Import Data from Excel

Print hundreds of labels with unique data from your Excel spreadsheet!

Step 1: Prepare Your Excel File

Your Excel file should have:

Step 2: Import in LabelInn

  1. Open your label design
  2. Click "Data" button in toolbar
  3. Click "Import Excel/CSV"
  4. Select your file
  5. Verify column mapping is correct
  6. Click "Import"

Step 3: Link Data to Elements

  1. Select a text or barcode element
  2. In the right panel, click "Link to Data"
  3. Choose the column to link (e.g., "Product Name")
  4. The element will show {Product Name} as placeholder

Step 4: Print All

  1. Click "Print"
  2. Select "Print All Records"
  3. Each row in your Excel will print as a separate label!

  • Use "Preview" to see how each label will look
  • You can filter which rows to print
  • Supports up to 10,000 rows per import

To Upgrade Your Plan

  1. Log in to your account on labelinn.com
  2. Go to Subscription Management
  3. Click "Upgrade Plan"
  4. Select your new plan
  5. Confirm payment (prorated amount will be charged)

To Downgrade Your Plan

  1. Go to Subscription Management
  2. Click "Downgrade"
  3. Select your new plan
  4. Change takes effect at end of current billing period

To Cancel Your Subscription

  1. Go to Subscription Management
  2. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  3. Confirm cancellation
  4. You'll retain access until end of billing period

๐Ÿ’ก Note: When you cancel, you keep access until your current billing period ends. No partial refunds are given unless within 30 days of initial purchase. See our Refund Policy.

Request a Refund

If you're within 30 days of purchase:

  1. Go to Refund Policy page
  2. Log in to your account
  3. Fill out the refund request form
  4. Refunds under $100 are processed automatically
